McMiller Sports Center
Southeastern Wisconsin has a wonderful resource, about
which I hope our frineds on the left never hear. It is the McMiller Sports
Center, and it is located in the scenic Kettle Moraine area. The center is
located right in the state park, very near the town of Eagle Wisconsin. Ranges
go from fifteen fett, all the way oout to 300 yards. There is also a trap
range, and a shop where you can purchase targets, and ammunition. It is $10
an hour, or $14 a day to shoot at the center. For $110, you can purchase
a pass which will permit unlimited use of all facilities for a year.
Compared to the smoky, stinky, dimly lit indoor ranges,
to which I have become accustomed, the outdoor ranges of McMiller are quite
refreshing.
