The Glacier
Glacier National Park, sits on the Canadian border, in Montana.
By the standards of the lower 48, it is a huge park, with
magnificent vistas, and high mountain peaks, as well as the
glaciers from which it got it's name. Still, in Alaska, such a
place could be lost in the vastness of places like Denali
National Park, one of many huge areas of unspoiled and preserved
tracts of land. Still, this was the first glacier of the trip, a
sort of an introduction tot what lay ahead. |
