Disassembly and Operating Principles

    The Calico is  really two separate weapons systems. The rimfire version is significantly different from the 9mm version. As with any autoloading weapon, you will want to remove the magazine, and check the chamber before beginning disassembly. I have included sections on disassembling the magazines, but do not recommend it. The magazines should rarely need cleaning or lubrication, and they are very intricate assemblies. They are also very costly, because of the short supply and restrictions of the 1994 magazine ban.
