Mammoth and Gardiner
The Northern area of the park is mountainous, and relatively dry, compared to the southern and central portions.

A look down at the hotel, and the "downtown" area of Mammoth village.

This is Minerva Terrace, a far cry from what it had been twenty five years previously, and even somewhat diminished from it's appearance ten years ago. The activity levels of the various features rise and fall over time. I suppose I am fortunate to have sweeen it in the late seventies when it was at it's peak.
