Looking down from the rim walk, and out across teh lower prarie.The
trails seen leading downward in the center of the photo are actually part
of the walk we are on. They lead around the edge of the "Wall" and then
off into the lower prarie. |

These three photos are a series of "Verticals", taken of some of the park
formations. The nature of the Badlands, makes it well suited to such compositions.
It is very much a vertical place. As can be seen in the lower photo, the
cam grounds skirt along the edge of one of the cliffs. |
